Gameweek Thirteen Preview: Graphical Aid

November 20, 2015

| The Hype Train |

We're now all in the trenches, ready for the grind that awaits. Fantasy Football managers have been long awaiting the day when we would cast international football to the side. Today is that day. There are seven rounds of BPL action between now and the new year, meaning we'll be over half way through the season by New Year. By the turn of 2016 it'll be obvious or not whether your FPL side is set for a high finish, or set for a finish in the greater millions. The next few weeks will begin to shape the rest of the season, and The Hype Train has you covered with its weekly Graphical Aid for the 13th week in the FPL.

Our Debut on Fantasy Football Pundits

Website: www.fantasyfootballpundits.co.uk

As part of our first gig at the Fantasy Football Pundits, in which we'll be providing a weekly article looking at different teams and issues in the FPL - essentially the 'hype' surrounding the Gameweek. Written by our Chief Writer, Sam Austin, and graphics provided by Robert Austin, we assess Liverppool in the eve of their greatest challenge of the season, an away affair at Manchester City.

Weekly Wildcards: Gameweek 13

Every week The Hype Train analyses the best wildcard options for your Fantasy Premier League teams. Historically weekly dream team’s comprise of mostly wildcard players whose selection falls under 5% of overall players, to which there is no doubt that their influence cannot be ignored. With such an abundance of points coming from the FPL’s hidden gems The Hype Train selects one player from each match in the upcoming gameweek to decide who could be the differential for your teams.

Injury Concern: Alternative FPL Midfielders

The Premier League is back with a bang. Back with a knock, and back with several large bruises that threaten yet another low-scoring week in our world of Fantasy Football. Dimitri Payet fell before the international break, but his departure from the Hype Train and the BPL sees a sizable gap form. Payet was not the first to fall, and there are others such as Bellerin, Vardy, Bony, and Kompany, whose GW13 game time is seriously hanging in the balance. With seven rounds of BPL action between now and 2016, we're all in the trenches looking for that ray of light to help boost our numbers. Nearing that moment of transfer deadline, the Hype Train provides a graphical aid for the midfielders that could potentially be show stealers in the weeks ahead.

Any last minute predictions?

Santi Cazorla has 5 assists in 3 games against West Brom. He could be a player to look out for this weekend.

Man United go to Watford without a fully fit striker after the trio of Martial, Rooney, and Fellaini were ruled out. Even more reason to put in a Watford defender? It's still risky as United are kings of jamming it on a bad day. Herrara or Depay could scored big in the FPL as they are the likely striking contenders. Mata at a push.

Chelsea have Norwich at home, an easy match this time last season. Now, not so much. Chelsea could win 2-0, like many predict, or they could get creamed at home, again. The latter is most likely given the roadmap of the 2015/16 season.

Newcastle and Leicester are bound to have goals. Why'd you risk a defensive option?

Liverpool travelling to Man City means that many FPL players will have clashes. Big ones. Strenghen your benches.

Southampton vs. Stoke has 1-1 written all over it. Maybe a slight favourtism towards the home team.

The transfer deadline remains normal for us FPL addicts - Saturday 21st November at 11.45am (UK time). Due to the international friendlies the Premier League is back to a two day format, beginning with Newcastle travelling to fellow strugglers Bournemouth, and ending with Jurgen Klopp gonig head to head with Alan Pardew at Crystal Palace. The Hype Team will be around this weekend to provide live FPL coverage throughout the weekend over on our Twitter account - @RealHypeTrain - with live FPL score charts and updates from the Premier League.

Until then, muse over our Weekly Hype page, and we wish your teams the best for the upcoming GW13.
