GRAPHICAL AID: Premier League Television Fixtures
The final countdown for the worlds biggest Fantasy Football game is just around the corner. Usually, an exact month until the new season, it is expected that the 2016/17 FPL website should go live on Wednesday 13th July 2016, but our predictions aside, the Premier League have provided concrete fixture lists for the Premier League's opening six rounds of fixtures. Leicester will open the league, first defending their crown away at Hull, and The Hype Train have gone the distance to provide a weekly Gameweek rundown of Television Fixtures in the PL for August and September. Planning time is just around the corner. All aboard.
First 10 FPL Fixtures: Club by Club
Dinner has been served, and now the Premier League community waits patiently at the table for their main course to be served. 2016 has been a summer of international football, with the European Championships and the 100 year anniversary of the Copa America taking centre stage. Fixtures for the brand-less 2016/17 Premier League season was released on June 15th 2016, and enough time has elapsed for Fantasy Premier League pundits to plot their path to victory (or demise, most likely) in the forthcoming season. The Hype Train takes a club-by-club look at the fixture list, with a Graphical Aid looking at the first 10 fixtures to be played by each club.

Fantasy Premier League: Gameweek Deadline
For the 2016/17 Premier League season, the FPL deadline will be one hour before the commencement of the week's first game. The Premier League website lists each FPL deadline, you can always ask on social media, and you can also view a real time countdown on our Weekly Hype page.
In a change from last season, the early Saturday kick off time has now been moved back to 11:30am, meaning the weekly FPL deadline will also be moving 15 minutes back.
The transfer deadline for GW1 is August 13th at 11:30am.

Television Fixtures: August & September
Below are some notes that The Hype Team has made regarding the released Television Fixtures.
- There are 6 Gameweeks in AUG and SEP, with 2 international breaks.
- Man United feature 3 times as the first fixture of a Gameweek (2, 4, 6).
- Man United also feature in a televised game for each of the first 6 weekends of the season. That is usually the way the Premier League goes with the Red Devils.
- West Ham feature in the last Premier League fixture for the first 3 round of Gameweek's (1, 2, 3). A mightily long wait for the Hammers in between games. Their first game at the Olympic Stadium is the 4pm Sunday fixture during GW2 against Bournemouth.
- Southampton also feature 3 times for televised fixtures: GW2 (Man United, away), GW5 (Swansea, home), GW6 (West Ham, away).
- Palace are lumbered with Saturday 3pm games, with 5/6 fixtures played then. The exception being GW5 (Stoke, home)
- Liverpool play their first 3 games of the season away home home. Only one is televised, which is during GW3 away at Spurs.
- Hull exclusively play on Saturday.
- West Ham play 4/6 of their opening games on a Sunday. This is most likely due to the Hammers being in the qualifying round of the Europa League, as well as having some testing fixtures.
- In the FPL, the fixture list can sometimes tinker with the mindset of players. Nobody wants to truly stack the deck and put three players in the first game, or risk a captain, just in case the players flop. It's juggling your own expectations, game timing, and bracing the reality of the day.
