After the dust has settled in a round of Premier League fixtures, we here at The Hype Train provide a post-mortem in the shape of our Power Rankings. We highlight the five key performers for FPL players in each position (GK/DEF/MID/FOR), with our selections based off of our own opinion of in-game performance and the end result with Fantasy points on the board. All aboard.
Fantasy Premier League: Gameweek 11 Deadline
For the 2016/17 Premier League season, the FPL deadline will be one hour before the commencement of the week's first game. The Premier League website lists each FPL deadline, you can always ask on social media, and you can also view a real time countdown on our Weekly Hype page.
GW10 POWER RANKINGS: Goalkeeper Picks
New entries: Jordan Pickford (EVE), Ben Foster (WAT)
Falling out: Hugo Lloris (TOT), Rui Patricio (WOL)
Another week, another Brazilian at the top of our Goalkeeper rankings. Ederson picked up a 6th consecutive clean sheet to remain in top spot, whilst Alisson, who didn't make a save for the first time in a Premier League game in Liverpool's 4-1 home win against Cardiff, hasn't been pressured enough to remove him from the silver medal spot.
Mat Ryan has managed back-to-back double digit points in the FPL and was inspirational in Brighton's 1-0 home win against Wolves to help secure The Seagulls a third consecutive clean sheet.
Jordan Pickford is an automatic pick this week after becoming the second keeper to make penalty saves in back-to-back games, saving from Paul Pogba at Old Trafford this week.
Rounding off the selections is Watford's Ben Foster who has kept consecutive clean sheets against Wolves and Huddersfield. This was enough to have Lloris and Patricio drop out altogethe.
GW10 POWER RANKINGS: Defender Picks
New entries: None
Falling out: None
There are no new faces in our defensive Power Rankings this week, even though a few players in Shane Duffy and Antonio Rudiger have been pressing for a spot. These top five defenders are the rightful template defensive assets as of writing, even though Robertson didn't play this weekend and Trippier only managed 2 points in a 1-0 home loss against Man City.
Benjamin Mendy has managed 4+ points in each of his 7 appearances, whilst Aymeric Laporte has managed 6 points from half a dozen matches. Marcos Alonso, who registered an assist for the first time in 6 matches, regained top spot.
GW10 POWER RANKINGS: Midfielder Picks
New entries: Ross Barkley (CHE)
Falling out: Mesut Ozil (ARS)
Eden Hazard has been dethroned at the top of our midfielder picks, with the past fortnight being all about The Egpytian King, Mohamed Salah. Salah has managed 23 points against Huddersfield and Cardiff and is back at the top of his game after a slow start to the season.
Due to Hazard not playing this week, it gave Raheem Sterling the chance to capitalise, which the Man City midfielder just about did when he assisted Riyad Mahrez at an NFL inspired Wembley.
Gylfi Sigurdsson once gain proved that he is fixture proof when his set-piece potential yielded another penalty against Man United, whilst Ross Barkley, the top player from Gameweek 10, has managed a trio of Fantasy returns to knock Mesut Ozil immediately out of the rankings.
GW10 POWER RANKINGS: Forward Picks
New entries: Glenn Murray (BHA)
Falling out: Alexsander Mitrovic (FUL)
There's a lot of jostling in our Forward picks, with both Arsenal Forward's having a change in fortune this week. Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang scored in his third straight match when he scored Arsenal's second at Crystal Palace, whilst Lacazette falls after back-to-back blanks.
Callum Wilson, who has managed 12 attacking returns from 10 matches, benefitted from Josh King missing out in the 3-0 win at Fulham, with Wilson's double putting him just behind Auba in our picks.
Sergio Aguero rounds off the podium spots despite another early removal against Spurs, whilst Glenn Murray roared back into contention after a concussion scare last weekend against Newcastle, when the Englishman scored the only goal against Wolves.
