Our Efforts in the Football Community
2019: Created the East Berkshire Football League (EBFL) emblem that is now used across all communications
2019: Set up and help organise and manage the EBFL's social media presence on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram
2019: Created the Grassroots Football sub-reddit for local teams to share news, articles, photos, videos and more
2020: Created the official EBFL website, www.EastBerkshireFL.co.uk
2020: Robert Austin joined the EBFL Committee to help develop grassroots football across the league and region
2020: Created the club crest for Reading & District Sunday League side, Rose & Thistle FC
2020: Offered and created all EBFL member clubs their own custom coloured league emblems to use across all social media channels
2020: Helped organise and contribute towards the EBFL fundraiser for NHS Berkshire Healthcare. Created all the promotional material and created the web pages to promote the event
2020: Alongside Stoke Poges Saints FC we helped organise, and report on, the Lockdown 2.0 FIFA Tournament, a 16-team tournament on FIFA 21 featuring grassroots football teams across the country all in the name of charity
2021: Created the E-Sports crest for our player, Callum Fox-Spence
2021: Formed a partnership with the East Berks Football Alliance (EBFA) and created the promotional literature to attract U18 teams into adult grassroots football.
2021: Formed the Reading Sunday Social League (RSSL) with Caversham United, an 8-team competitive league with a grand final between the top two sides

The Hype Train is a sports and entertainment website based in Reading, England that was formed in March 2015. THT is co-owned by Robert Austin, Sam Austin and Phil Jones.

Our team produces written, video and podcast content, mixing well-researched feature articles and high-quality graphics, with a focus on our football team, Hype Train FC, the Premier League as well as fantasy football (FPL and MLS Fantasy).

Our website has twice been shortlisted finalists at the Football Content Awards (2016 & 2019), whilst Hype Train FC won the Football in Berkshire Goal of the Season (2019/20) and the Berks & Bucks FA Goal of the Season (2019/20) awards in our debut season.
