Gameweek Order: TV Fixtures

The First Ten: Every BPL Team

After much pain-staking effort colour co-ordinating the twenty teams first ten fixtures, a scroll through each team really illuminates the potential patterns that FPL players are most likely going to take. For example, West Ham's first three home games are against Leicester, Bournemouth, and Newcastle. The Hammers play all three teams before Gameweek 5, so they'll be up there for FPL consideration.

Costel Pantilimon is high on the Hype Train's radar, and we think the Mackems fixtures make the big Romanian a near certainty for our FPL sides. Take a look at what we've to offer, and we'll make our own judgement when you're done considering your rotations and player picks.

The Hype Team's General Observations

If you'de like to put all of your eggs in the newly promoted teams, then Norwich and Bournemouth have a good rotation pattern, especially for defensive of midfield capability. A combination of Wes Hoolhan (set piece taker) and Matt Ritchie as your squads fourth and five midfielders could yield some wildcard points.

As we mentioned above, West Ham have a tasty run of home games, but on the flip side they play Arsenal, Liverpool, and Man City away from home. Aaron Cresswell may be too expensive to rotate should he be more than 5.0m in price. Rotation is best used for cheaper players in the 4m range. Money will be put in other places such as expensive midfield options, meaning that unless Cresswell is a mainstay in your eleven, then some might not take the risk with the Englishman.

You'd be a brave manager to put in teams from Merseyside. Everton and Liverpool have equally testing fixtures to begin their season, but we know they'll pick up points in that time. It's just judging where they'll come from from an FPL standpoint. Personally, the team here is divided on the subject of Everton's clean sheet potential, whilst the Liverpool fan in our rank truly believes that new signing Clyne would be a worthy addition to an FPL 11.

Man United have a comfortable few opening games, but last season proved that they couldn't keep clean sheets in most games. Whoever the United GK will be on GW 1, even though they entertain Spurs, we don't think there will be major investment. United may be popular, but putting faith in their strength at the back has come to blow up in the faces of most managers. As of writing, United's only signing has been Depay, another attacking option.

Steve McLaren will have to hit the ground running if he wants to avoid another relegation threatened season. The Toon begin the season at home to Southampton, then face away trips to Swansea and Man United. They also face Man City away, a game they never win or score in, and face Chelsea at home, a game they always win. It may be their first points of the season unless the team up north to their jobs in the office and secure some reliable talent. If anything, FPL managers will be looking to stack the deck against the Toon this season unless something changes.

A few notable GK options have arisen for the combined period. SUN, LEI, ARS, WHU, SOU, CHE, and STK, could be amongst the most popular keeping options. Jack Butland, should he be number one this season, could be the budget choice of the season.

NEVER, EVER, TRUST THE SPURS DEFENCE!

West Brom may have the hardest run of opening games of the lot. Man City, Chelsea, Southampton, and Everton..

Crystal Palace also face a difficult first five, with home games vs. Arsenal and Man City, and an away day at Chelsea. Palace usually play well at home against the big boys, so don't buy into the hype that it'll be smooth sailing for the big guns.

Speaking of West Brom and Palace, they are the only two teams facing home-away-home-away fixtures, without a two game block of home or away games. They have the most consistant pattern all twenty teams.

Stoke face Liverpool at home, then Spurs away. Six points? The internet will think so.

Will Troy Deeney make the cut? Three home games out of the first five will put him into consideration, for sure.

Will Arsenal play Bellerin this season? He'll be the cheapist option at the back for the Gunners. Cech is an option, but will probably be priced around the 6.0m mark, too pricy for most forward thinking FPL bosses.

All aboard.
