Gameweek Fourteen Preview: Graphical Aid

We're on the eve of round fourteen in the FPL and we're on the verge of a potentially defining weekend. Jamie Vardy is one goal away from the biggest party, Mesut Ozil can extend his run of assists, whilst Sunderland and Aston Villa face teams, that whilst are hard to beat on the offer, offers a real chance for the relegation battle to get a real shake up. The Hurrikane, Big Romelu Lukaku, and Bentekkers must be relishing their weekend potential, whilst a Hart-less Man City go up against an occasionally deadly Southampton unit that poses another difficult challenge on home turf. The Hype Train once again provides its weekly Graphical Aid, where we have analysed Leicester City, and have taken a glance at who is getting bonus points.

Every week The Hype Train analyses the best wildcard options for your Fantasy Premier League teams. Historically weekly dream team’s comprise of mostly wildcard players whose selection falls under 5% of overall players, to which there is no doubt that their influence cannot be ignored. Who is getting the elusive Bonus Points in the FPL?

Prior to the new season, with the launch of the 2015/16 BPL season, the FPL revised its rules on bonus points and the concensus was evident: Bonus was heavily weighted towards centre backs and had finally given Goalkeepers a platform to claim the holy grail of additional points. But after thirteen weeks of the season, heading into Gameweek 14, are the revised bonus points system actually distributed fairly, and do centre backs actually profit more? With a series of Graphical Aids, The Hype Train digs deep into FPL statistics in an attempt to bring light to the state of post-match point rewards.

Are Leicester City more than a 'surprise package'?

The difference one year can make. After thirteen games of last season, Leicester City was rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table. Now, in the current 2015/16 campaign they’ve ridden the hype right to the top. The Hype Train writes for the Fantasy Football Pundits to analyse where Leicester are, where they are going, and what they can offer for your fantasy teams.
