FPL FORECAST 2016/17: Gameweek 11
Each and every week the three members of The Hype Team post their Premier League and FPL predictions in an attempt to enlighten players that might be stuck with their FPL choices and transfers. In addition, we’ll be taking on a guest for every Gameweek in the PL. On the weekly agenda are a general predictions category, a Gameweek Fantasy Premier League forecast, scout picks, and captaincy choices. For the opening weekend of the season, we welcome @FPLGeneral as our 11th guest. All aboard.

Fantasy Premier League: Gameweek 11 Deadline
For the 2016/17 Premier League season, the FPL deadline will be one hour before the commencement of the week's first game. The Premier League website lists each FPL deadline, you can always ask on social media, and you can also view a real time countdown on our Weekly Hype page.
In a change from last season, the early Saturday kick off time has now been moved back to 12:30am, meaning the weekly FPL deadline will also be moving 15 minutes back.
The transfer deadline for GW11 is Saturday November 5th at 14:00pm.

How does our Forecasting work?
We have taken to our Hype Team, and the FPL Community, to compete in a weekly head to head dual of wits. We are asking the questions that dominate each week in the Fantasy Premier League: who to pick, who to avoid, who to captain, and who may surprise. The 3 members of the Hype Team, and a Guest, will provide weekly insight for the Gameweek ahead. For the sake of the first edition of the Forecast, we have provided an example of what we're sending out to interest parties.
Premier League Fixture Prediction: As pundits, we are testing our football acumen with PL predictions (Mark Lawrenson style, only less biased, hopefully) and will be providing regular updated tables and stats in each edition of the FPL Forecast.A perfect score is worth 3 points whilst a correct result is worth 1 point.
FPL Gameweek Forecasting: Answering the regular questions that come up every single week in the Fantasy Premier League community that helps with identifying captaincy picks, transfers, attacking options, clean sheet potential, teams to look our for and avoid, the wildcard differential players, and general analysis and comments.
Scout Picks: Picking a squad of 15 for a single Gameweek, using the rules of the FPL - formations, captains and vice captains, and the player limits of 3 per club (chips will not be feature of these weekly picks)
Each team must pick a Captain, labelled as (c) and a Vice Captain listed as (vc).
Fixture Prediction: 2016/17 Points Table
In our predictions a perfect score is 3 points, and predicting the right outcome is worth 1 point (aka if a team wins but, you predict it, but don't get the perfect score). Below is the Gameweek and overall rundown of our Premier League predictions series for the season.

Gameweek 11 Fixture Prediction
Bournemouth 4-0 Sunderland
Burnley 1-0 Crystal Palace
Man City 4-0 Middlesbrough
West Ham 2-2 Stoke
Chelsea 2-0 Everton
Arsenal 2-1 Spurs
Hull 0-2 Southampton
Liverpool 3-0 Watford
Swansea 2-1 Man United
Leicester 3-0 West Brom
FPL Forecasting: Gameweek 11
Best GW Attacking Options:
Liverpool (H) vs Watford
Southampton (A) vs Hull City
Chelsea (H) vs Everton
Man City (H) vs Middlesbrough
Bournemouth (H) vs Sunderland
Best GW Defensive / Clean Sheet Potential:
Liverpool (H) vs Watford
Leicester (H) vs West Brom
Burnley (H) vs Crystal Palace
Southampton (a) vs Hull
Chelsea (H) vs Everton
Who would you Transfer In and Out for the Gameweek and beyond?:
IN: Charlie Austin, Van Dijk, Jose Fonte, Christian Fuchs, Tom Heaton, Michael Keane, Wilfried Bony, Riyad Mahrez, any Liverpool midfielder, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Marcos Alonso.
OUT: Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Xherdan Shaqiri, Michail Antonio, Winston Reid, Troy Deeney (this makes me sad), and any Manchester United player.
Who is the team to look out for?:
Southampton: Not only do the Saints have a convincing run of fixtures (Liverpool aside) they travel to the KC where Hull have really fallen off the wagon since Mike Phelan’s heroics in August. With the in-form striker Charlie Austin this should be an open and shut case match.
Liverpool: Watford rank as one of the most sceptical attacking teams in the Premier League and they are finding it tough to create chances for Troy Deeney. The Red’s scintillating form makes them once again great options.
Bournemouth: Easiest home game of the season, expect Howe to set up his team with the intent of inflicting a result that could potentially sack David Moyes.
Who is the team to avoid?:
Sunderland: Relegated.
Man United: Fresh from their Europa League defeat in Turkey they must go to a ground where they struggle to win, or keep any clean sheets. Swansea when they want can turn it on against the big teams and I am expecting the Swans to walk away with the victory to boost Bradley’s team onto better things.
Everton: Chelsea hasn’t conceded a goal in quite a long time, in fact the whole of October they went without picking the ball out of their own net. Be wary that Lukaku and Bolasie might be in for a tough ninety minutes.
Spurs: This might be the first North London derby that swings in Arsenal’s favour in a while, the Lilywhites have not lived up to the hype when they beat Manchester City a few weeks ago. Arsenal’s attack should be too much for them.
GW Differential Picks:
Ilkay Gundogan: The German has been on unstoppable scoring form for City, and with Boro taking the trip to Boro it could be another one of them days for Pep’s team.
Michael Keane: Tom Heaton has raised the fortunes of the entire club and putting in a proper captain’s performance, this is also overshadowing the hard work of Michael Keane in front of him who has also been superb. Operation Pardew: Forty Points is looking very tough to achieve this season.
FPL Captaincy Pick:
Sergio Aguero: I don’t understand the Aguero hype at all, but from time to time he scores big. Boro at home is an easy fixture for to pick the Kun as captain, I hate myself for doing it, but I know that Boro will give away an easy penalty at the Emptyhad.
Philippe Coutinho: Currently the player of the season so far the maverick Brazilian will be up to his usual tricks and causing Janmaat a whole world of trouble on Sunday. Expect another convincing Liverpool win.
Other Gameweek Comments:
Lots of convincing wins this week for lots of clubs, but just remember that teams are starting to keep more clean sheets as they start figuring out their best line ups and also weaknesses of the other teams. Look what Boro did to Arsenal two weeks ago. I still expect lots of goals, but as ever, the dream team will consistent of predominantly players on the periphery. Be brave with a transfer and look at where the points have become consistent.

Who would you Transfer In and Out for the Gameweek and beyond?:
IN: Charlie Austin, Van Dijk, Christian Fuchs, Tom Heaton
OUT: Zlatan, Xherdan Shaqiri, Any United players
Who is the team to look out for?:
Southampton: Looking to bounce back after looking mediocre against a flourishing Chelsea side. Hull are the perfect opponents to regain confidence and bag a clean sheet.
Bournemouth: Expect another win for the cherries by a big margin. Plenty of options in attack and defence. The attack often shares the points so it may be difficult to pick the right man on the day.
Who is the team to avoid?:
Sunderland: Ditto week 1-10.
Man United: I mentioned in some of my tweets prior to last week that it’s not worth panicking over United. Several people responded having captained Zlatan or bringing in Mata. The rest is history.
GW Differential Picks:
Ilkay Gundogan: The weeks main bandwagon. Four goals in two starts is difficult to ignore. His in the box actions is off the charts as well.
Charlie Austin: Perfect opportunity to brave a wildcard captain.
FPL Captaincy Pick:
Sergio Aguero: We were reminded last week of what he can do on his day. No other player in the league has as much potential point production as him.
Charlie Austin: If I can find a way to bring him in I may be tempted to give him the armband. A one week gamble as his fixtures aren’t the best, but I like him for this match up.
Other Gameweek Comments:
Take a points hit. If you’re considering it. Do it.

Out: Antonio, Capoue, Alderweireld
Who is the team to look out for?:
Leicester - At home the Foxes look good value defensively, but drew this fixture 2-2 last season, with Rondon running the show.
Who are the teams to avoid?:
West Ham - Don't let a couple of wins fool you, the London club are in trouble. Looking good in patches, they're genuine relegation candidates. After my beloved Newcastle found out the hard way last season, it doesn't matter the players, any club can go down or win the league). Stoke are looking good and I think they'll be loving the idea of continuing the misery at the Olympic Stadium.
Man United - The last 4 fixtures between Swansea and United has been by a scoreline of 2-1. I don't fancy United at Swansea and think Bradley will pick up a much needed victory.
Watford - My own team has had to navigate 3 Watford players in recent weeks, but none will feature against Liverpool. Holebas features on the bench with Capoue, who is on the way out. Deeney, well he's gone. Just not enough shots on goals. There aren't really any other FPL options within the Hornets side.
GW Differential Picks:
Zieler (LEI) - With Kasper injured the German keeper is a major differential heading into the new Gameweek. If you don't fancy the keeper, Heaton's always available.
FPL Captaincy Pick:
(C) Sergio Aguero - Even though Boro kept a clean sheet at Arsenal, and they'll shut up shop, City are a different beast. Our guests have a track record of captaincy picks, so I'm aware to negate this to continue being top of the Scout Picks table.
(VC) Charlie Austin - Austin's scoring well against the 'smaller' sides and I expect this trend to keep going. Such a good alternative, and replacement for Troy Deeney's, who saw his run of great games yield just one goal and an assist.

Lukaku will come back to haunt Chelsea!
