FPL FORECAST 2016/17: Gameweek's 19 & 20
Each and every week the three members of The Hype Team post their Premier League and FPL predictions in an attempt to enlighten players that might be stuck with their FPL choices and transfers. In addition, we’ll be taking on a guest for every Gameweek in the PL. On the weekly agenda are a general predictions category, a Gameweek Fantasy Premier League forecast, scout picks, and captaincy choices. For the next two Gameweek's of the season we welcome @FantasyPLGuide as our guest. All aboard.

Fantasy Premier League: Gameweek 19 & 20 Deadlines
For the 2016/17 Premier League season, the FPL deadline will be one hour before the commencement of the week's first game. The Premier League website lists each FPL deadline, you can always ask on social media, and you can also view a real time countdown on our Weekly Hype page.
The transfer deadline for GW19 is Friday 30th December at 19:00pm.
The transfer deadline for GW20 is Monday 2nd January at 11:30am.

How does our Forecasting work?
We have taken to our Hype Team, and the FPL Community, to compete in a weekly head to head dual of wits. We are asking the questions that dominate each week in the Fantasy Premier League: who to pick, who to avoid, who to captain, and who may surprise. The 3 members of the Hype Team, and a Guest, will provide weekly insight for the Gameweek ahead. For the sake of the first edition of the Forecast, we have provided an example of what we're sending out to interest parties.
Premier League Fixture Prediction: As pundits, we are testing our football acumen with PL predictions (Mark Lawrenson style, only less biased, hopefully) and will be providing regular updated tables and stats in each edition of the FPL Forecast.A perfect score is worth 3 points whilst a correct result is worth 1 point.
FPL Gameweek Forecasting: Answering the regular questions that come up every single week in the Fantasy Premier League community that helps with identifying captaincy picks, transfers, attacking options, clean sheet potential, teams to look our for and avoid, the wildcard differential players, and general analysis and comments.
Scout Picks: Picking a squad of 15 for a single Gameweek, using the rules of the FPL - formations, captains and vice captains, and the player limits of 3 per club (chips will not be feature of these weekly picks)
Each team must pick a Captain, labelled as (c) and a Vice Captain listed as (vc).
Fixture Prediction: 2016/17 Points Table
In our predictions a perfect score is 3 points, and predicting the right outcome is worth 1 point (aka if a team wins but, you predict it, but don't get the perfect score). Below is the Gameweek and overall rundown of our Premier League predictions series for the season.

Who would you Transfer In and Out for the Gameweek and beyond?:
IN: Any Chelsea defender (Cahill won’t risk rotation), Lee Grant, Tom Heaton, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Adam Lallana, Phil Jones, Sergio Aguero, Roberto Firmino, Marcos Rojo, Salomón Rondón, Andy Carroll, Andre Ayew, Dimitri Payet, Dele Alli, Mesut Özil, Hector Bellerin, Romelu Lukaku.
OUT: Jordan Pickford, Wilfried Zaha, Ross Barkley, Jordi Amat, Gylfi Sigurdsson, any Leicester player, Alvaro Negredo (too inconsistent), and for the love of god get rid of John Stones.
Who are the teams to look out for?:
Manchester United: Convinced that some strings were pulled for them from the FA to ensure that the Red Devils had another easy festive fixture list is very feasible…Sunderland, Boro, and West Ham aren’t exactly huge concerns for Jose Mourinho. As such, they have options in forwards and defence that can’t go unrecognized, especially Zlatan, De Gea, Jones, and Valencia.
Liverpool: If there is a team that Jürgen Klopp would love for his team to face every week it would Manchester City, especially because he gets a reunion with the manager who he created an entire footballing system to defeat in Pep Guardiola. Manchester City have lost at Anfield in the last two league encounters and Anfield and the Reds did the double on them this season. City just look ripe for the taking from a neutral view and with the goals flowing freely at Anfield you wouldn’t back against them. After this the Reds travel to Sunderland, which shouldn’t be a mind-blowing fixture for them.
Chelsea: Justifiably at the top without compliant, the Blues have just had it all. Once again, I expect nothing less than two wins from Conte’s men. The trip to Spurs will be testing but the way in which the Blues manoeuvred Manchester City shouldn’t phase them.
Everton: You know I thought Everton were done with playing football and just got complacent passing between their midfield and defence through Gareth Barry, but after two a convincing away win against Leicester they have the fortune of tormenting Hull in what should be an easy three points for the Toffees. After this they will return to face a Southampton who were battered by Spurs, in the next two weeks there is a lot of optimism for blue half of Merseyside to pick up some points and apply some pressure to Manchester United.
Who are the teams to avoid?:
Sunderland: Goes without saying really doesn’t it, you wouldn’t fancy them in the next two weeks when you have Burnley (dominant at Turf Moor) and Liverpool in the busy part of the Christmas fixtures. Also, injury to Jordan Pickford is a crippling blow to FPL players and David Moyes squad.
Hull City: Everton and West Brom is nothing to smile about for the Tigers, they face two top half teams and I am expecting them to concede plenty of goals. Defensive assets, particularly for West Brom in gameweek twenty, are options that are too good to turn down. Romelu Lukaku in particular I think has the potential to score a hat-trick just like he did against Sunderland, he has a habit of scoring against teams dwelling near the bottom.
GW Differential Picks:
Marcos Alonso: Just an incredible player and has made the difference to their defensive efforts, the Spaniard is currently sitting uncontested at the top of the differential mountain, nothing can touch him, including Troy Deeney who has been famed as an incredible wildcard option. As it stands Alonso is an untouchable wildcard to have in your teams.
Phil Jones: Two fixtures where Jose Mourinho can get two positive results, as much as it hurts to see Manchester United handed yet another easy festive fixture list it is worth the attention of the FPL community who are looking for players who cover both gameweeks. Manchester United shouldn’t have any problem at keeping a clean sheet against Boro who struggled at Burnley in their last fixture.
FPL Captaincy Picks (19 & 20):
GW19:
Romelu Lukaku (C): Lots of people have regretted transferring out the big Belgian after he nabbed a goal against Leicester, and going to a certainly relegated Hull City the immediate future is bright for the Toffees. As already mentioned I think that this is one of them big scoring fixtures for Lukaku as I have previously stated he has scored against the struggling teams including West Ham (at the time), Leicester, Sunderland, Watford, and Middlesbrough. Scoring against Hull City won’t come as a surprise following this consistent record.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic (VC): Contrary to popular belief I believe that Boro will put up a better fight against United than Hull will against Everton and limit the Red Devil’s chances, so Zlatan rides Shotgun next to Lukaku for this gameweek.
GW20:
Sergio Aguero (C): On paper this is going to be one of ‘them’ fixtures where he nabs himself a brace upon a return to the Emptyhad Stadium. Everyone who is a part of the FPL will explode on twitter and declare that their messiah has returned, so I am just going to roll with it.
Salomón Rondón (VC): Another fixture against Hull City, another potential captaincy pick. Rondón is a solid option for a high-flying West Brom, and no doubt will Pulis be leaving the stadium happy after this match. As a believer in giving the differential options a chance I would highly recommend considering the Venezuelan a chance even if it is just for this fixture.
Other Gameweek Comments:
Rotation, rotation, rotation. Fear the word. Full-backs are most susceptible to this, and Spurs now have no other option than to rotate after suspensions to both Rose and Walker. Managers won’t shy away from having their teams refreshed and key men rested for bigger fixtures.
Also, the African Cup of Nations is nearly here and with quite a few familiar faces in the Premier League jetting off to Gabon for the tournament there will also be the onus of future planning, the likes of Zaha and Mane are no longer options until they return. As a Liverpool fan it is a painful and sobering realisation that the wizardry of Mane will be gone for what will feel like an age with an enormous number of fixtures awaiting Liverpool with two League Cup semi-finals approaching, which could also mean rotation of other familiar faces too like Adam Lallana and Divock Origi who can be deputised by Sturridge and Emre Can.

Who would you Transfer In and Out for the Gameweek and beyond?:
IN: Aguero, Lallana, Sanchez, Costa, Pieters, Grant, McAuley, Ibrahimovic, Pogba, Mkhitaryan.
OUT: Van Dijk, Kane, Eriksen, Sigurdsson, Walker, All AFCON players after this week.
Who are the teams to look out for?:
Man City, Liverpool and Man United are the obvious picks for the week.
West Brom: A team pushing the boundaries of what a mid table team is capable of. A Tony Pulis side scoring at will while playing with style. Two sentences you’d never expect to hear. And yet it’s all true. It’s damn true.
Crystal Palace: Zaha has one last chance to team up with Benteke and show what he’s got before the AFCON starts. Swansea have conceded more chances and goals than any other team so Benteke and Zaha are well worth hanging on to for one more week.
Who are the teams to avoid?:
Watford, Sunderland, Burnley, Swansea.
GW Differential Picks:
David Silva: A player almost forgotten in the FPL this term, back in the side and performing well. Nobody better at feeding Aguero in attack.
FPL Captaincy Picks:
(C) Alexis Sanchez: Tempted to go for Zlatan here but Sanchez is due another big return. It all boils down to positioning in the end. If Giroud is likely to start points may be limited out wide.
(VC) Sergio Aguero: A player I’m truly afraid to say I don’t currently own. In a toss up between him and Costa I had to go with consistency on this occasion. After no penalty area touches versus Liverpool I feel a little better, but this is Burnley. At Home. Squeaky bum times ahead.

Who would you Transfer In and Out for the Gameweek and beyond?:
IN: Aguero (for next week), Lallana, Man United defenders, Dele Alli (but after the Chelsea game).
OUT: Jordan Pickford, Wilfried Zaha, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Sadio Mane (after the Sunderland game) any Leicester player, Alvaro Negredo (too inconsistent), and Kane out for Aguero if you can afford it.
Who are the teams to look out for?:
Liverpool: Klopp loves to beat Pep, and Liverpool love to beat Man City. Aguero and company struggle at Anfield. Might be a good afternoon for Lallana and Mane against defenders that will be tested beyond their capabilities.
Everton: Everton play the worst team in the league, it's an easy choice to go with Lukaku on this occasion.
Who are the teams to avoid?:
Crystal Palace: Palace are still suffering from the same old problems, and this will continue until the January transfer market closes. Palace struggle with seeing out games, and against an ultra-fit Arsenal team and Alexis Sanchez, it could be another few games of struggle.
Leicester: The Champs are in trouble and might struggle to get anything against West Ham and Boro based on current form.
GW Differential Picks:
Marcos Alonso: He's a favourite at The Hype Train and deserves all the plaudits he can get. Alonso's a defender essentially playing as a midfielder/forward.
Andre Gray: Sunderland can't defend and Gray can score. Add 2 and 2 together, it's really that easy when observing Sunderland's defenders.
FPL Captaincy Picks (19 & 20):
GW19:
Alexis Sanchez (C): Sticking faith with the formula from last weekend, despite not scoring or assisting, Palace will offer easier pickings for Arsenal than a stubborn West Brom side.
Marcos Alonso (VC): It's a clean sheet or more every single week. Alonso's the perfect back up to have.
Alexis Sanchez (VC): Alexis is the best player in the FPL this season and his best days are away from home. Bournemouth are getting their act together but could really come undone against Arsenal.
Other Gameweek Comments:
There's a lot of Captaincy choices floating around this weekend, but don't be afraid to be brave and go left field.
