FPL FORECAST 2016/17: Gameweek 30
Each and every week the three members of The Hype Team post their Premier League and FPL predictions in an attempt to enlighten players that might be stuck with their FPL choices and transfers. In addition, we’ll be taking on a guest for every Gameweek in the PL. On the weekly agenda are a general predictions category, a Gameweek Fantasy Premier League forecast, scout picks, and captaincy choices. For Gameweek 30 we welcome @rosco1177 (Rosco FPL) as our next guest. All aboard.

Fantasy Premier League: Gameweek 30 Deadline
For the 2016/17 Premier League season, the FPL deadline will be one hour before the commencement of the week's first game. The Premier League website lists each FPL deadline, you can always ask on social media, and you can also view a real time countdown on our Weekly Hype page.
The transfer deadline for GW30 is Saturday 1st April 2017 at 11:30am.

How does our Forecasting work?
We have taken to our Hype Team, and the FPL Community, to compete in a weekly head to head dual of wits. We are asking the questions that dominate each week in the Fantasy Premier League: who to pick, who to avoid, who to captain, and who may surprise. The 3 members of the Hype Team, and a Guest, will provide weekly insight for the Gameweek ahead. For the sake of the first edition of the Forecast, we have provided an example of what we're sending out to interest parties.
Premier League Fixture Prediction: As pundits, we are testing our football acumen with PL predictions (Mark Lawrenson style, only less biased, hopefully) and will be providing regular updated tables and stats in each edition of the FPL Forecast.A perfect score is worth 3 points whilst a correct result is worth 1 point.
FPL Gameweek Forecasting: Answering the regular questions that come up every single week in the Fantasy Premier League community that helps with identifying captaincy picks, transfers, attacking options, clean sheet potential, teams to look our for and avoid, the wildcard differential players, and general analysis and comments.
Scout Picks: Picking a squad of 15 for a single Gameweek, using the rules of the FPL - formations, captains and vice captains, and the player limits of 3 per club (chips will not be feature of these weekly picks)
Each team must pick a Captain, labelled as (c) and a Vice Captain listed as (vc).
Fixture Prediction: 2016/17 Points Table
In our predictions a perfect score is 3 points, and predicting the right outcome is worth 1 point (aka if a team wins but, you predict it, but don't get the perfect score). Below is the Gameweek and overall rundown of our Premier League predictions series for the season.

Swansea (H) vs. Middlesbrough
Who would you Transfer In and Out for the Gameweek and beyond?:
IN: Antonio Valencia, Diego Costa, Dele Alli
OUT: Seamus Coleman, Harry Kane, Adam Lallana
Who are the teams to look out for?:
Liverpool: The Reds aren’t losing against teams in the top half of the table, and with injury to the maverick Seamus Coleman weakening their defence the Toffees will have their backs against the walls when they visit Anfield for the lunchtime kick-off. Mane against Baines is going to be brutal watching for Everton supporters.
Chelsea: Costa and Alonso are my picks for FPL players of the season so far and I expect nothing but more perfection from the Blues against an in-form Crystal Palace. The Eagles good run will most likely come to an end against an unstoppable Blues juggernaut.
Watford: Any team that Sunderland visits on the road is going to get my nod of approval, especially when you have Troy Deeney salivating for more goals.
Swansea: Middlesbrough can’t score or attack, so you have to back the Swans to do a real number on them in what could be an important game for the relegation scrap.
Who are the teams to avoid?:
Arsenal: Why would anyone think they can win a football match now, the whole club is in disarray and there is a real prospect of finishing outside of the top four this season. Manchester City rocking up to the library could be a bad omen for Wenger who is struggling to retain support for his case, and could a be a game that people point to why he must step down if he doesn’t win.
Bournemouth: The coast-line clash is going to be one hell of a spectacle to witness, both games last season were incredible as the two southern clubs battled for the right to call themselves the best team looking out towards the English Channel. Bournemouth are just a step down from Southampton, I expect a rampant Saints to overwhelm the Cherries to take the honour for a second year running.
West Ham: I think they’ll draw against Hull, but at home the Tigers have a mean bite and this could be another trap for the Hammers to navigate.
GW Differential Picks:
Troy Deeney: I want to see Deeney go from zero-to-hero for Watford, I have an affinity for the uncapped Englishman because he has been in blistering form in 2017 and with the opportunity of having Sunderland visit this could be a big week for the Hornets skipper. Deeney in my eyes is this weeks most understated player and may cause some eyebrows to raise.
Christian Fuchs: Now, having picked both Fuchs and Deeney it feels like I am writing wildcard options from the 2015/16 Premier League season all over again. Both players are in good form and Fuchs has two returns from his last two home games, and I am banking on the likeable Austrian making it three-from-three against Stoke.
FPL Captaincy Picks:
(C): Sadio Mane: Everton are weakened and Liverpool don’t lose verses their close rivals. Also, Mane is going to rip Baines apart. The Senegalese forward scored against the Toffees in their victory earlier on in the season and I am banking him to do the same again and place his name as one of the few players in Liverpool history to achieve the feat of scoring against the blue rivals in both league fixtures.
(VC): Troy Deeney: I like picking a differential vice-captain, and the last time Deeney was in the mix both he and Patrick van Aanholt returned for me, so I am placing faith in differential legend, the one and only Troy Deeney.
Other Gameweek Comments:
On paper, there is a rich amount of defensive and offensive options this week, you are spoilt by choice. However, take caution. The international break has the potential to throw everything into disarray, players could come back having forgotten how to even play football, also with upcoming fixture congestion the dreaded ‘rotation’ word comes into play if squad members come back jaded or fatigued from playing international games.
Lastly, a big-shout out to the Burnley and Spurs fixture…this week’s biggest trap. The Claret’s could do another big upset on a top team and continue their culling of opposition at home. Spurs without Harry Kane is also a much weaker team.

Who would you Transfer In and Out for the Gameweek and beyond?:
IN: Pedro, Valencia, Mahrez, Vardy, Costa, Mane, Sigurdsson
OUT: Everton defenders, West Brom players, Gabbiadini.
GW Differential Picks:
Riyad Mahrez: Finally seeing signs of our reigning POTY returning to form. Where he’s been is a mystery but the exit of Claudio Ranieri has seen him spark back to life. Still a risk with his hefty price tag but I like this option. Weeks and weeks of favourable fixtures to come.
FPL Captaincy Picks:
(C): Diego Costa: Mr.Consistent is called on once again to take the armband. After a lacklustre International break everyone is a bit rusty, Costa is a safe bet.
(VC): Sadio Mane: Injuries have torn apart the Everton defence and left holes everywhere for Mane and co to exploit. Points could come from 5/6 sources for Liverpool but Mane is often the man at the summit.
Other Gameweek Comments:
Struggled to pick a stand out captaincy option this week. Differentials might be the way to go this time. Banking on returns from Vardy and Mahrez in the coming weeks, something I’ve wanted to say all season.
Preparation for the DGWs start now so start shifting dead wood.

Who would you Transfer In and Out for the Gameweek and beyond?:
IN: Ben Gibson (for the DGW), Marcos Alonso, Ryan Bertrand, Juan Mata (if he is actually playing), and any Liverpool midfielders.
OUT: Anybody injured during the international period – Coleman etc.
Who are the teams to look out for?:
Liverpool: Everton have suffered two defensive blows with the injuries of Funes Mori and Coleman, which is ideal for Liverpool in the derby. I think a big win is on the card for the Reds.
Watford: The worst team in the league are coming to play, so Deeney and company are primed for FPL success.
Chelsea: A minimum of two Chelsea assets from his game is a must. Alonso is a dark horse for captaincy.
Swansea: Gylfi and Llorente still have a few good games left in them this season. Boro look like they’ve given up the ghost and could be beaten comfortably.
Who are the teams to avoid?:
Hull: A lot of teams that we’ve been asked to help have Hull defenders. Just get rid of them. They don’t offer any FPL value until the end of the season.
Bournemouth: Indifferent and inconsistent, except for Josh King. I’ve no idea what Cherry side will turn up.
GW Differential Picks:
Gini Wijnaldum (LIV): Playing at home again, Gini has been on fire. A few teams will be quietly confident of another goal.
Andy Carroll (WHU): The Hammers usually perform better away from home against the little teams, so don’t be surprised to see Hull step closer to the drop. Carroll is the tip of the spear this week, and could have had a hat-trick against Leicester during GW29, had it not been for Snodgrass is also back, so worth a punt perhaps?
FPL Captaincy Picks:
