FPL FORECAST 2016/17: Gameweek 35
Each and every week the three members of The Hype Team post their Premier League and FPL predictions in an attempt to enlighten players that might be stuck with their FPL choices and transfers. In addition, we’ll be taking on a guest for every Gameweek in the PL. On the weekly agenda are a general predictions category, a Gameweek Fantasy Premier League forecast, scout picks, and captaincy choices. For Gameweek 35 we welcome @SevenWondersFPL as our next guest. All aboard.

Fantasy Premier League: Gameweek 35 Deadline
For the 2016/17 Premier League season, the FPL deadline will be one hour before the commencement of the week's first game. The Premier League website lists each FPL deadline, you can always ask on social media, and you can also view a real time countdown on our Weekly Hype page.
The transfer deadline for GW35 is Saturday 29th April 2017 at 14:00pm.

How does our Forecasting work?
We have taken to our Hype Team, and the FPL Community, to compete in a weekly head to head dual of wits. We are asking the questions that dominate each week in the Fantasy Premier League: who to pick, who to avoid, who to captain, and who may surprise. The 3 members of the Hype Team, and a Guest, will provide weekly insight for the Gameweek ahead. For the sake of the first edition of the Forecast, we have provided an example of what we're sending out to interest parties.
Premier League Fixture Prediction: As pundits, we are testing our football acumen with PL predictions (Mark Lawrenson style, only less biased, hopefully) and will be providing regular updated tables and stats in each edition of the FPL Forecast.A perfect score is worth 3 points whilst a correct result is worth 1 point.
FPL Gameweek Forecasting: Answering the regular questions that come up every single week in the Fantasy Premier League community that helps with identifying captaincy picks, transfers, attacking options, clean sheet potential, teams to look our for and avoid, the wildcard differential players, and general analysis and comments.
Scout Picks: Picking a squad of 15 for a single Gameweek, using the rules of the FPL - formations, captains and vice captains, and the player limits of 3 per club (chips will not be feature of these weekly picks)
Each team must pick a Captain, labelled as (c) and a Vice Captain listed as (vc).
Fixture Prediction: 2016/17 Points Table
In our predictions a perfect score is 3 points, and predicting the right outcome is worth 1 point (aka if a team wins but, you predict it, but don't get the perfect score). Below is the Gameweek and overall rundown of our Premier League predictions series for the season.

GW Differential Picks:
Troy Deeney (WAT): We've not seen quite the same form as last season but if Watford score he's in the points. Liverpool are leaky. That is all.
FPL Captaincy Picks: (C): Christian Benteke: The big Belgian is in fine form so a Home fixture vs Burnley has come at the right time. A couple of goals or more wouldn't surprise.
(VC): Harry Kane: a derby game had all the makings of a classic. The form of Spurs stalled slightly in the last week but Kane is always a danger.

Stoke (H) vs. West Ham

Man City (a) vs. Middlesbrough
Who would you Transfer In and Out for the Gameweek and beyond?:
IN: Gabbiadini, Tadic, Forster, Bertrand, Alexis, Monreal, Cech, Sane, Chelsea and Spurs assets (if not already owned). I'd like to think of Kompany as an option, but at any moment he can drop and fall, so we'll wait to see with him.
OUT: Negredo and Boro in general, any Everton players after this week (it's DGW time), and Liverpool assets (they look vulnerable against the worst teams in the league)
Who are the teams to look out for?:
Spurs - I'm not buying into the whole talk that anything can happen in a derby game. Spurs are head and shoulders above Arsenal this season and I expect them to route out the Gunners for what they are - a bang average side this season.
Bournemouth - I hate Josh King, and I an envious of Bournemouth's form/ My trouble is getting on their Hype Train at the right times. The Cherries could relegate Sunderland, which would be a dream come true with my beloved Newcastle coming back up next season.
Chelsea - There's a lot riding on Chelsea's visit to Everton, but I'm sure it might prove to be anti-climactic. Chelsea ripped Everton apart earlier this season, and if Koeman even slightly tinkers with his squad again, Chelsea will expose any cracks. Everton will struggle with the forward movement of Chelsea's attackers, and with the advancing wing-backs.. Poor Spurs are looking like the eternal Bridesmaid's on the modern Premier League era, vying with Liverpool for being queen bee of finishing runner up.
Southampton - Gabbiadini is back and fit, which means Southampton will have another dimension against a Hull side that is morphing into Burnley; a side that competes at home, but implodes on the road.
Who are the teams to avoid?:
Arsenal - As a designated Arsenal fan this season (thanks to you, our FPL community) in Newcastle's absence, I've endured a horrid season of terrible away performances from the Gunners. A few easy wins on the board won't paper over the cracks that it is an average team going to a Spurs team that is firing on all cylinders. Arsenal love a 3-1 away defeat, so that looks like another likely scoreline.
West Brom - Haven't scored at home in a while, lacking any momentum as their season grinds to a halt. It's been a very good season by Pulis and WBA, but with Leicester looking for one win to push themselves across the safety line, they'll be hungrier and determined to avenge their defeat at Arsenal - which was quite unfortunate.
GW Differential Picks:
Dusan Tadic (SOU) - When Gabbiadini is firing, there's a knock-on effect with Tadic. It's a good home tie to replace Sigurdsson for Tadic have you already played your wildcard and not included the Serbian.
Vincent Kompany (MCI) - Aboard the proverbial Hype train, Man City have looked a solid unit with Kompany in the side. Leadership goes a long way, and it will be enough to see City coast past Boro.
FPL Captaincy Picks:
(C) Manolo Gabbiadini (SOU) - Tight between Gabbi and Tekkers, but in the end I have gone with the wildcard pick of the two. Burnley always frustrate me when I pick an FPL captain against them, so I'll avoid that headache this week. My logic here is that on the whole Southampton are better than Palace in the league, and even on a fine run of form, Southampton are more reliable against weaker opposition. Plus, it helps that Gabbi is a sensational player that can provide a touch of magic to a game.
(VC): Christian Benteke (CRY) - My only concern about Benteke is he'll be man-marked by two Burnley defenders that will not give him an inch. It might be a better occasion for Townsend and Zaha to rip the full-backs apart with pace and power. Nevertheless Big Benteke is on-form and is a lethal forward right now.

Who would you Transfer In and Out for the Gameweek and beyond?:
IN: Eden Hazard - Great form. Great fixtures. Going for the title, and unplayable when at his best. (Which is right now…)
OUT: Romelu Lukaku - Could be a risky move, but I see better forward options elsewhere. No double gameweeks, up against a tough Chelsea side.
Who are the teams to look out for?:
Stoke - I fancy Stoke to do well vs West Ham this weekend. Their form hasn’t been great of late, but could flourish against a leaky West Ham defence who have conceded 2+ goals in their last 4 away games.
Liverpool - Liverpool should bounce back against Watford this weekend after the disappointing loss to Crystal Palace. I can see goals in this one. Going for a convincing Liverpool win.
Manchester City - I think the return of Jesus will lift everyone at the club. Clearly a special talent. Again, expecting a comfortable win for Man City, and a day closer to the Championship for Middlesbrough.
Bournemouth - The Cherries have great fixtures, confidence should be restored after a 4-0 thumping of Middlesbrough. Sunderland are all but relegated. I expect them to have too much for the Black Cats.
Who are the teams to avoid?:
Watford - I fear Watford could be the victim of a backlash from Liverpool. Would stay clear of any Watford assets. Klopp should have Liverpool raring to go. Another defeat would see their top 4 hopes diminish further.
Middlesbrough - Man City have to win this game with Manchester United breathing down their neck for a spot in the top 4. I expect Middlesbrough to put up a fight for the first 20 minutes of so, but after the first goal, could be a long day for them.
GW Differential Picks:
Marko Arnautovic (STK) - Very explosive on his day. 3 double figure hauls this season. If you are looking for a one-week punt, Arnautovic could be your man…
Gabriel Jesus (MCI) - Special talent clearly valued highly by Pep Guardiola. I can see him having an impact this weekend. Great movement and should see plenty of chances…
