FPL FORECAST 2016/17: Gameweek 37
Each and every week the three members of The Hype Team post their Premier League and FPL predictions in an attempt to enlighten players that might be stuck with their FPL choices and transfers. In addition, we’ll be taking on a guest for every Gameweek in the PL. On the weekly agenda are a general predictions category, a Gameweek Fantasy Premier League forecast, scout picks, and captaincy choices. For Gameweek 37 we welcome @FPLWorkshop as our next guest. All aboard.

Fantasy Premier League: Gameweek 37 Deadline
For the 2016/17 Premier League season, the FPL deadline will be one hour before the commencement of the week's first game. The Premier League website lists each FPL deadline, you can always ask on social media, and you can also view a real time countdown on our Weekly Hype page.
The transfer deadline for GW37 is Friday 12 May 2017 at 19:00pm.

How does our Forecasting work?
We have taken to our Hype Team, and the FPL Community, to compete in a weekly head to head dual of wits. We are asking the questions that dominate each week in the Fantasy Premier League: who to pick, who to avoid, who to captain, and who may surprise. The 3 members of the Hype Team, and a Guest, will provide weekly insight for the Gameweek ahead. For the sake of the first edition of the Forecast, we have provided an example of what we're sending out to interest parties.
Premier League Fixture Prediction: As pundits, we are testing our football acumen with PL predictions (Mark Lawrenson style, only less biased, hopefully) and will be providing regular updated tables and stats in each edition of the FPL Forecast.A perfect score is worth 3 points whilst a correct result is worth 1 point.
FPL Gameweek Forecasting: Answering the regular questions that come up every single week in the Fantasy Premier League community that helps with identifying captaincy picks, transfers, attacking options, clean sheet potential, teams to look our for and avoid, the wildcard differential players, and general analysis and comments.
Scout Picks: Picking a squad of 15 for a single Gameweek, using the rules of the FPL - formations, captains and vice captains, and the player limits of 3 per club (chips will not be feature of these weekly picks)
Each team must pick a Captain, labelled as (c) and a Vice Captain listed as (vc).
Fixture Prediction: 2016/17 Points Table
In our predictions a perfect score is 3 points, and predicting the right outcome is worth 1 point (aka if a team wins but, you predict it, but don't get the perfect score). Below is the Gameweek and overall rundown of our Premier League predictions series for the season.

Who would you Transfer In and Out for the Gameweek and beyond?:
IN: Maya Yoshida, Eden Hazard, Diego Costa, Dele Alli, Alexis Sanchez, Gabriel Jesus, Nacho Monreal, Marcos Alonso, Jan Vertonghen, Hugo Lloris, Christian Fuchs, and the list goes on and on for double gameweek players.
OUT: Liverpool assets, Man United assets, any non-DGW players.
Who are the teams to look out for?:
Chelsea: Two comfortable games against West Brom and Watford where the Blues could be crowned champions of England.
Man City: Two homes games in a double gameweek against Leicester and West Brom. Should be a productive week for the Citizen’s attack.
Spurs: Features in two games, winnable games, so expecting more arduous work from Spurs. The only downside is that with the title going to Stamford Bridge you are rightfully scared of a capitulation where they let their foot off the gas pedal. Kane and Alli should be excellent value for money though against a weakened Man United and battling Leicester; surely?
Arsenal: Having picked up two consecutive 2-0 results against Man United and Southampton the Gunners are picking up form in the business end of the season, there very could be two more 2-0 results to come against Stoke and Sunderland.
Southampton: Middlesbrough and Man United (the latter in the crux of the Europa League rotation period) should be a chance for the Saint’s to cement a place in the top half of the table. We aren’t expecting many goals but Southampton defenders are looking valuable options to have in your FPL squads.
Who are the teams to avoid?:
Man United: Caught up in Europa League rotation the Red Devils are to be avoided at all costs. They only have one fit central defender to play in league games and they are utilising their squad. Adding Man United players to your FPL teams this gameweek is a huge risk.
Liverpool: Slavan Bilic has been tormenting the Reds ever since Klopp took over as Liverpool manager in October 2015. They drew in a thrilling 2-2 game against the Hammers earlier in the season and with Bilic putting men behind the ball it could be another one of them games for Liverpool trying to break a defence down to no avail.
GW Differential Picks:
Gabriel Jesus: The Brazilian could be in for a big gameweek with two home fixtures, expect there to be goals, and Jesus to be among them.
Nacho Monreal: Playing games at the heart of the Gunners defence, so he is an essential differential this week.
FPL Captaincy Picks:
(C): Alexis Sanchez – The Chilean has done me right as my triple captain last season, picking up 75pts for my team, so I am going to stick faith in him again. Ties against Stoke and Sunderland should be enough to convince any FPL managers that there is only one contender for their captaincy option this week.
(VC): Diego Costa – One of my players of the season so far is Diego Costa, and the all-round forward could be a big player against West Brom and Watford…teams that suit a more hustle and bustle style to break through. The Chelsea forward has been excellent all season and these types of games favours his presence, but choosing Hazard as your captain or vice wouldn’t be a bad bet either.
Other Gameweek Comments:
Using a chip would be wise, depending on your team either bench boost if you have more players in the double gameweek playing twice; or alternatively if you have a hyper team made up of eleven players then it makes sense to use your triple-captain on Kane, Sanchez, Alli, Hazard, Costa, or differential Gabriel Jesus. With four of the top half teams in favourable fixtures, and Southampton for defensive returns, this could be a make-or-break gameweek for many players.

Who would you Transfer In and Out for the Gameweek and beyond?: IN: Any City/Chelsea/Spurs/Arsenal DGW players. Benteke, King. OUT: Any single GW players. Man United players.
Who are the teams to look out for/avoid?:
The essential: Arsenal Man City These teams still have something to play for and will likely battle to the last day for a top four spot.
The rotation risk: Chelsea Spurs Man United While each team plays twice a large amount of rotation could occur dependent on two factors.
1.If Chelsea win at WBA they will rest for the cup/Spurs will have nothing to play for. 2. If United don't win vs Spurs they will focus on Europa League.
The wildcards: Leicester
Leicester have clawed their way back into the top half and will want to secure a respectable place.
The single Gameweekers: Crystal Palace
Looking to guarantee premier league survival by winning at home to Hull. The loss of Salho has hurt them but Benteke, Zaha and Townsend will put on a show. Big Sam can't be relegated.
GW Differential Picks:
Christian Benteke: Looking for a single gameweek player for this week. Let's not forget that Palace still need a win to guarantee survival and what better chance than against relegation contenders Hull. Benteke hasn't always lived up to expectation but this is a do or die situation for the Eagles.
FPL Captaincy Picks: (C): Gabriel Jesus: Bit of a wildcard option but his fixtures are the most favourable with rotation unlikely while Aguero is out injured.
(VC): Alexis Sanchez: The front runner in most captain Polls. A lot of triple captaincy chips will be played here due to his big returns potential, but will he be enough to beat a bench boost chip?

Who would you Transfer In and Out for the Gameweek and beyond?:
IN: Maya Yoshida, Eden Hazard, Diego Costa, Dele Alli, Alexis Sanchez, Gabriel Jesus, Nacho Monreal, Marcos Alonso, Jan Vertonghen, Hugo Lloris, Christian Fuchs - yes I've copied Sam's list, but he's right. In the top few thousand players for a reason!
OUT: Man United players, any Watford, WBA or Sunderland players.
Who are the teams to look out for?:
It's all about the teams playing twice, right? Maybe not. I'll focus my strengths on those who are only featuring once for DGW37.
Bournemouth: Burnley at home with the Claret's missing their two CB's? Josh King must be relishing this opportunity.
Everton: Watford have successfully had the same season now for two straight years, and are in their end of season plight. Lukaku is primed to continue a good season in front of goal and might settle the golden boot debate before the final day of the season.
Swansea: Playing away at Sunderland, the Swans can ensure their Premier League survival at a team recently down and out. Sigurdsson and Llorente are having a late season flourish much to the joy of South Wales.
Crystal Palace: It';s a relegation showdown at Selhurst Park, and last time out in a 2-2 draw Zaha stole the show with a fantastic goal. More of the same this time round from both sides?
Liverpool: Arsenal play before the Reds, which could really motivated Liverpool in securing their Champions League destiny for next season. I fancy Liverpool to turn on the style and do what Spurs couldn't, beat an average West Ham side that are grinding out results.
Who are the teams to avoid?:
Man United: The Europa League hangover is the worst condition to have in the Premier League. Avoid like the plague.
Rob Holding:The Arsenal defender looks the real deal right now and at budget value is an essential for those who want to deck the halls with their bench boost.
Vincent Kompany: Goals, clean sheets, and two home games? A perfect storm for Vincent Kompany to continue his FPL hot streak before he inevitably crumbles to injury yet again.
FPL Captaincy Picks:
(C): Harry Kane – The league's best Forward playing in two matches? It's a no brainer, regardless of the opposition.
(VC): Alexis Sanchez – Arsenal play twice, fighting for their top 4 place, which provides Alexis with immunity that might foul Chelsea players. With the title win in the bag at the Baggies, there is a risk or rotation which leaves Sanchez as the second, if not thee, pick for the week.
Other Gameweek Comments:
For my personal team I opted to use the Triple Captaincy chip due to a lack of options on the bench. I just feel more comfortable trusting a big gun than a bunch of little ones. If you prefer to play bench boost it might be a nail biting time trusting cheap options that might let you down.

Who would you Transfer In and Out for the Gameweek and beyond?:
IN:
Gabriel Jesus; Eden Hazard. These two both have double gameweeks and I expect both City and Chelsea to score well. Gabriel Jesus has scored 4 goals and assisted 2 in just 4 starts. Aguero is struggling with injury, but even if he recovers sufficiently to play in DGW37, Jesus has started alongside him and appears to be a Pep favourite. Eden Hazard is Chelsea's highest point-scorer, and with West Brom and Watford seemingly already on their holidays, it would be risky to leave him out.
OUT:
Romelu Lukaku; Phillipe Coutinho. Everton have been poor recently, drawing 1 and losing 2 of their last 3 games. Romelu Lukaku has failed to score in each of these. He faces Watford, where he could score well, but high-profile forwards like Jesus, Kane and Costa have double gameweeks and could rack up double-digits quite comfortably. Phillipe Coutinho seems to be in and out of fantasy teams constantly. Unfortunately, with Liverpool only grabbing 3 goals in their last 4 and only the one fixture against West Ham in DGW37, there are better options elsewhere.
Who are the teams to look out for?:
Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal. All three teams have two fixtures this week and have huge attacking potential against some out-of-form outfits.
Who are the teams to avoid?:
West Brom, Burnley, Stoke. West Brom have lost 4 and drawn 2 of the last 6 and face Chelsea and City. Burnley bounced back from 2 straight losses with a win and a draw in their last 2, but have a tricky trip to Bournemouth in their only fixture this gameweek. Stoke have only won once in their last 10 and that was home to lowly Hull City. They face Arsenal, who need the points, in their only fixture this gameweek.
GW Differential Picks:
Willy Caballero; Kevin de Bruyne; Cesc Fabregas, Mesut Ozil. Caballero and Fabregas (if you have faith he'll get the minutes) are cheap routes into the City backline and Chelsea midfield. De Bruyne scored very well against Palace and Ozil faces two potentially high-scoring games against Stoke and Sunderland.
