Picking a Captain to double down on in the Fantasy Premier League is the most important question asked ahead of each of the 38 Gameweek's in the Premier League season. There's a lot of self-help out there for FPL enthusiasts, with our Hype Team providing three major considerations for the armband for each and every Gameweek. Fantasy Premier League: Gameweek Deadline
For the 2016/17 Premier League season, the FPL deadline will be one hour before the commencement of the week's first game. The Premier League website lists each FPL deadline, you can always ask on social media, and you can also view a real time countdown on our Weekly Hype page

We're less than two hours away from the Gameweek 21 deadline and the issue of captaincy this week has been a heated cause as Harry Kane, who has 6 goals from his last 2 matches, is unavailable due to Spurs and West Ham featuring twice next week.
More so than ever our captaincy poll highlighted the two players to keep in consideration ahead of this round of games, with Alvaro Morata challenging the eventual winner, Mohamed Salah.
Salah scored a back-post header last time out against Leicester in a 3-2 victory, and has picked up a goal or an assist in each and every fixture since Gameweek 8's 0-0 home draw against Man United. Salah was also taken off early in Liverpool's 5-0 home win against Swansea which will aid his chances of starting the next match.
As for Morata, the Chelsea forward is back amongst the goals, being teed up by Azpilicueta for a 6th time this season in a dull 2-0 home win against Brighton. Morata faces Stoke, which is a return of the 4-0 win earlier in the season by Chelsea, and a game which saw Morata nab his first Premier League hat-trick.
We're probably going to advise against the use of Eden Hazard in the captaincy role for this Gameweek, with Morata the vocal point again, and with players already eyeing up removing Hazard, probably for Alli or Eriksen, as the season's first Double Gameweek looms.
CAPTAINCY HYPE: THE WILDCARD PICK
Our Wildcard selection is one of the ten differential picks that is featured in our Weekly Wildcards article. This captaincy selection has a very small percentage of owners in the FPL, and is our left field option.

Player: Alexis Sanchez (ARS)
Position: Midfielder

Arsene Wenger must be a sweaty nightmare with the transfer market about to open again, it means all the clubs in the world can approach him for his two prized assets: Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez. We failed on our last attempt at trying to guess which of the midfielders would be up for it against Crystal Palace and we believed Ozil had upped his game, but it was in fact the other differential, Alexis Sanchez, who was on the scoresheet.
The Chilean is a great differential with his future up in the air with Man City lurking for his signature, so fantasy managers will be keen to steer clear of Sanchez with his future up in the air. Sanchez will be keen to show off his prowess and ability during this period, so it could be argued that he ups his performance to get a move away from Arsenal. This is both a win-win for Arsenal and Sanchez; Wenger gets his wins, and Sanchez sells himself to a new club. The Chilean’s performances have been getting better and against West Brom he is the best alternative captaincy pick if you’re looking for an ‘out there’ differential.
Alexis Sanchez Key Facts:
Alexis Sanchez scored two goals in his last Premier League appearance against Crystal Palace during GW20.
Sanchez is now Arsenal’s top scoring FPL player with ninety points.
Sanchez has three fantasy returns from his last five matches, with two of them occurring in GW19 and GW20. A return against West Brom would make it three in a row.
The last two fixtures at the Hawthorns between West Brom and Arsenal have resulted in two Baggies victories.
Arsenal have scored against West Brom in every match during the Premier League era. The last time West Brom kept a clean sheet against the Gunners it was during a ‘League Division One’ match in 1985, thirty-two years ago, spanning twenty-eight matches.
Arsenal are undefeated in their last five Premier League games (W2, D3).
West Brom haven’t won a game since gameweek two, away to Burnley. All season they have struggled to pick up wins (W2, D9, L9).
