FANTASY FORECAST 2018/19: FPL Gameweek 5
Ahead of each Gameweek in the Fantasy Premier League, The Hype Train invites a special guest onto its Fantasy Forecast, where the three members of the Hype Team and its Special Guests will duel for FPL supremacy in predicting Premier League scores, as well as going head to head in picking a Scout Picks squad for the relevant Gameweek. In addition, we give our insight into who are the players to watch and those to drop, both for traditional FPL leagues and the Draft mode, as well as providing insight into captaincy picks, differentials for the week, and more. Welcome to the Forecast. All aboard.

Fantasy Premier League: Gameweek 5 Deadline
For the 2016/17 Premier League season, the FPL deadline will be one hour before the commencement of the week's first game. The Premier League website lists each FPL deadline, you can always ask on social media, and you can also view a real time countdown on our Weekly Hype page.

How does our Forecasting work?
We have taken to our Hype Team, and the FPL Community, to compete in a weekly head to head dual of wits. We ask the questions that dominate each week in the Fantasy Premier League: who to pick, who to avoid, who to captain, and who may surprise. The three members of the Hype Team, and a Guest, will provide weekly insight for the Gameweek ahead.
For the sake of respecting the rules of the Forecast, we have provided an example of what we're sending out to interested parties that will feature throughout the season.
Premier League Fixture Prediction: As pundits, we are testing our football acumen with PL predictions and will be providing regular updated tables and stats in each edition of the FPL Forecast. A perfect score is worth 3 points whilst a correct result is worth 1 point.
FPL Gameweek Forecasting: Answering the regular questions that come up every single week in the Fantasy Premier League community that helps with identifying captaincy picks, transfers, attacking options, clean sheet potential, teams to look our for and avoid, players to consider for the Draft game, the wildcard differential players, as well as general analysis and comments.
Scout Picks: Picking a squad of 15 for a single Gameweek, without any budget, using the rules of the FPL - formations, captains and vice captains, and the player limits of 3 per club (chips will not be feature of these weekly picks)
Each team must pick a Captain, labelled as (c) and a Vice Captain listed as (vc).

Best GW Defensive / Clean Sheet Potential:
Man City (H) vs. Fulham
Chelsea (H) vs. Cardiff
Wolves (H) vs. Burnley
Crystal Palace (A) vs. Huddersfield
Who are your essential Gameweek player picks?:
Mo Salah: The man loved scoring against Spurs, and the limelight is off him which could be for the best. Nobody thinks the Egyptian is worth it for the gameweek and I think he’ll prove doubters wrong.
Danny Ings: Sticking with Liverpool players, the man on loan at Southampton has come to life with a fresh challenge. The hotly anticipated Coastline Clash with Brighton could be an extravaganza with plenty of goals.
Who are the players that might make the difference this Gameweek in the Draft?:
Wolves defenders. Southampton forwards. Southampton defenders. Rotated Man City defenders. Rotated Man City midfielders.
Who are the teams to look out for?:
Man City: Insert overused explanation of City’s potential for gameweek.
Chelsea: Insert overused quip about how ‘Hazard is in the top five players in the world and better than Salah’.
Who are the teams to avoid?:
Arsenal: The Gunners beat Cardiff* and all the pundits are suddenly hailing the second coming of Christ. I am not sold by the progress of the Spaniard, and I think it will take longer than just one win against the leagues worst team to get over the Wenger hangover.
Spurs: I think everyone banking Kane might be in for a shock, the Reds want revenge for last season and have most definitely improved. Liverpool need to beat Spurs to win the league, and with Virgil steadying the ship I expect the Reds to be competitive in this fixture.
*barely beat Cardiff.
GW Differential Picks:
Nobody thinks Watford can beat Man United. So, I pick Deeney.
Chelsea have their easiest home fixture of the season. So, I pick Rüdiger.
Few people think Liverpool can do something against Spurs. So, I pick Milner.
Unai Emery has finally seen the light and picked his best striker. So, I pick Lacazette.
Southampton can now score goals. So, I pick Ings.
FPL Captaincy Picks:
(C): Sergio Aguero – Sigh, here is hoping that the one hit wonder Argentine does something significant this week…only to negate everyone else that has him.
(VC): Eden Hazard – The Belgian has stepped up his game, and against Cardiff I expect the Bluebirds to be leaving the Blues very blue.
Other Gameweek Comments:
I am sure the international break will give Pep Guardiola the excuse to field a fifth consecutive formation change and different starting eleven.

FPL Captaincy Picks: (C) Sergio Aguero: a full match rest is surely on the cards soon, but the form and fixtures are too good to pass up. Aguero has rested over the international break so hopefully that will be enough.
(VC) Eden Hazard: Unlike Harry Kane, Hazard is showing no signs of world cup fatigue. I can’t see the not so mighty Cardiff slowing him down.

Who are your essential Gameweek player picks?:
Raheem Sterling - unlikely hero this week?
Wayne Hennessey - my personal favourite GK this season so far. Top of the wish list against a side who struggle to score.
Mohamed Salah - Overlooked, the Egpytian King is out to send a message.
Who are the players that might make the difference this Gameweek in the Draft?:
Alex McCarthy - there's a good chance your league rivals to pick him up on the waiver this week.
Rachid Ghazzal - Some major differential points could be on the table for Leicester's new Algerian winger.
Who are the teams to look out for?:
Newcastle: Arsenal can't defend.
Everton: West Ham can't defend.
Man City: Fulham can't defend.
Southampton: Brighton can't defend (away from home).
Who are the teams to avoid?:
Man United: Jose Mourinho syndrome is running wild (brother).
Arsenal: The brick wall awaits.
Huddersfield: Bogey fixture against Palace is a no-go for me.
Spurs: Liverpool look in stronger shape with Spurs missing key men in Lloris and Alli.
FPL Captaincy Picks:
(C) Sergio Aguero - My heart is telling me Salah, but my inner-FPL spirit is telling me that I will regret going with the crowd this week. I'm playing it safe.
(VC) Mohamed Salah - If not Aguero, it's Salah.
