FANTASY FORECAST 2018/19: FPL Gameweek 11
Ahead of each Gameweek in the Fantasy Premier League, The Hype Train invites a special guest onto its Fantasy Forecast, where the three members of the Hype Team and its Special Guests will duel for FPL supremacy in predicting Premier League scores, as well as going head to head in picking a Scout Picks squad for the relevant Gameweek. In addition, we give our insight into who are the players to watch and those to drop, both for traditional FPL leagues and the Draft mode, as well as providing insight into captaincy picks, differentials for the week, and more. Welcome to the Forecast. All aboard.
Fantasy Premier League: Gameweek 11 Deadline
For the 2016/17 Premier League season, the FPL deadline will be one hour before the commencement of the week's first game. The Premier League website lists each FPL deadline, you can always ask on social media, and you can also view a real time countdown on our Weekly Hype page.
How does our Forecasting work?
We have taken to our Hype Team, and the FPL Community, to compete in a weekly head to head dual of wits. We ask the questions that dominate each week in the Fantasy Premier League: who to pick, who to avoid, who to captain, and who may surprise. The three members of the Hype Team, and a Guest, will provide weekly insight for the Gameweek ahead.
For the sake of respecting the rules of the Forecast, we have provided an example of what we're sending out to interested parties that will feature throughout the season.
Premier League Fixture Prediction: As pundits, we are testing our football acumen with PL predictions and will be providing regular updated tables and stats in each edition of the FPL Forecast. A perfect score is worth 3 points whilst a correct result is worth 1 point.
FPL Gameweek Forecasting: Answering the regular questions that come up every single week in the Fantasy Premier League community that helps with identifying captaincy picks, transfers, attacking options, clean sheet potential, teams to look our for and avoid, players to consider for the Draft game, the wildcard differential players, as well as general analysis and comments.
Scout Picks: Picking a squad of 15 for a single Gameweek, without any budget, using the rules of the FPL - formations, captains and vice captains, and the player limits of 3 per club (chips will not be feature of these weekly picks)
Each team must pick a Captain, labelled as (c) and a Vice Captain listed as (vc).

Who are your essential Gameweek player picks?:
Salah Salah, oh Mane Mane, and Bobby Firmino….and Liverpool bought Fabinho.
Hazard, Aguero, Trippier, and Marcos Alonso are also up there.
Who are the players that might make the difference this Gameweek in the Draft?:
West Ham defenders (I can’t believe I am saying that).
Watford midfielders.
Chelsea everything.
Liverpool midfielders.
Who are the teams to look out for?:
Man City: Six straight clean sheets in a row, and ten games unbeaten. If Southampton manage to win this game, then I’ll become a Man United fan for a week.
Who are the teams to avoid?:
Arsenal: In what world would I ever pick the Gunners when Liverpool are coming to town. Unai Emery may have beaten the likes of Cardiff, Newcastle, and Fulham, but they haven’t faced the unbeaten Reds.
Man United: Bournemouth have been better than the Devils this whole season in every department. The Cherries are now scoring for fun and right now that should worry a Jose Mourinho who is constantly whining about needing another £200mil worth of defenders to keep a clean sheet.
GW Differential Picks:
Gerard Deulofeu looks right a right pick at a low price, and against Newcastle he could be a big player for the Hornets. The other obscure name is John Stones who has shone next to Aymeric Laporte, and if Pep rotates him it will be a tragedy.
FPL Captaincy Picks:
(C): Jamie Vardy – Following the tragic death of Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha after the draw with West Ham, Leicester have a point to prove, and a man to honour. I am paying homage to the Thai owner of Leicester by entrusting the armband on Jamie Vardy this week. I can already see it now, Vardy with his arms pointed to the sky in memory.
(VC): Sergio Aguero – The Argentine may only be getting sixty minutes now in the league, but against Southampton you can’t dispute his potential.
Other Gameweek Comments:
Football pays homage to a generous man this week. The tragedy at Leicester further fuels one of football’s most memorable stories in the past few years, and it can be safe to say that no team in the league has as many highs and lows in recent memory. Getting promoted, nearly getting relegated, winning the Premier League the following year, reaching the Champions League quarter finals, Leicester players in England getting to the semi-finals of a World Cup, and now the death of their owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.
It is warming to see so much faith in football again which has united over this disaster, and after a surreal few days, it will be a celebration of just how important football is, and here to hope that players are going to make this a special week in the worlds best league.

Bournemouth: This is the game a Mourinho type will win to put the 'big horses' in Bournemouth in their place.
Newcastle: We can't win at home and we can't score.
GW Differential Picks:
Deulofeu and David Brooks look like decent options this weeks, with Ben Chilwell at the back a tasty cheap alongside, as too is Kiko Femenia.
FPL Captaincy Picks:
(C): Sergio Aguero – I am lost for answers this week so am going 'basic bro' with my answer.
(VC): Mohamed Salah – I am lost for answers this week so am going 'basic bro' with my answer.
Other Gameweek Comments:
Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was responsible for the most unforgettable Premier League season in history and this past week has been among the most strange and sobering for most football fans. It is absolutely tragic that football has lost a true gentleman of the game and we offer our sincerest condolence to everyone involved.

Who are the teams to avoid?:
Southampton, Palace, Burnley, Fulham.
GW Differential Picks:
Alli, Mata, Deulofeu, Chilwell, Morata, Lukaku
FPL Captaincy Picks:
Hazard or a City player if you fancy your chances at the Pep roulette! Aguero, Sterling and even Mendy are potential great options if your feeling brave!
(C): Hazard
(VC): Sterling
Other Gameweek Comments:
Man United played well against Everton and I expect them to get a win against a decent Bournmouth side. Martial and Wilson the key men. Newcastle under a lot of pressure and struggling to score goals, I expect Watford to take advantage. Success a potential new budget forward.
Man City and Chelsea should both get comfortable wins. Wolves seem to have dipped a little recently, especially in front of goal. I feel Spurs will have too much for them. Huddersfield and Fulham is arguably a must win for both. Could go either way for me!
