FANTASY FORECAST 2018/19: FPL Gameweek 33
Ahead of each Gameweek in the Fantasy Premier League, The Hype Train invites a special guest onto its Fantasy Forecast, where the three members of the Hype Team and its Special Guests will duel for FPL supremacy in predicting Premier League scores, as well as going head to head in picking a Scout Picks squad for the relevant Gameweek. In addition, we give our insight into who are the players to watch and those to drop, both for traditional FPL leagues and the Draft mode, as well as providing insight into captaincy picks, differentials for the week, and more. Welcome to the Forecast. All aboard.
Fantasy Premier League: Gameweek 33 Deadline
For the 2016/17 Premier League season, the FPL deadline will be one hour before the commencement of the week's first game. The Premier League website lists each FPL deadline, you can always ask on social media, and you can also view a real time countdown on our Weekly Hype page.
How does our Forecasting work?
We have taken to our Hype Team, and the FPL Community, to compete in a weekly head to head dual of wits. We ask the questions that dominate each week in the Fantasy Premier League: who to pick, who to avoid, who to captain, and who may surprise. The three members of the Hype Team, and a Guest, will provide weekly insight for the Gameweek ahead.
For the sake of respecting the rules of the Forecast, we have provided an example of what we're sending out to interested parties that will feature throughout the season.
Premier League Fixture Prediction: As pundits, we are testing our football acumen with PL predictions and will be providing regular updated tables and stats in each edition of the FPL Forecast. A perfect score is worth 3 points whilst a correct result is worth 1 point.
FPL Gameweek Forecasting: Answering the regular questions that come up every single week in the Fantasy Premier League community that helps with identifying captaincy picks, transfers, attacking options, clean sheet potential, teams to look our for and avoid, players to consider for the Draft game, the wildcard differential players, as well as general analysis and comments.
Scout Picks: Picking a squad of 15 for a single Gameweek, without any budget, using the rules of the FPL - formations, captains and vice captains, and the player limits of 3 per club (chips will not be feature of these weekly picks)
Each team must pick a Captain, labelled as (c) and a Vice Captain listed as (vc).
Fixture Prediction: Gameweek 33
Southampton 0-3 Liverpool
Bournemouth 2-1 Burnley
Huddersfield 0-2 Leicester
Newcastle 2-1 Crystal Palace
Everton 1-2 Arsenal
Chelsea 2-0 West Ham
FPL Forecasting: Gameweek 33
Best GW Attacking Options:
Liverpool (A) vs. Southampton
Bournemouth (H) vs. Burnley
Leicester (A) vs. Huddersfield
Newcastle (H) vs. Crystal Palace
Arsenal (A) vs. Everton
Chelsea (H) vs. West Ham
Best GW Defensive / Clean Sheet Potential:
Liverpool (A) vs. Southampton
Leicester (A) vs. Huddersfield
Chelsea (H) vs. West Ham
Who are the teams to look out for?:
Liverpool A: The first team is going to run riot against its reserve team. Also, the Reds are winning either by skill or luck, so you can’t go against them at this point in the season.
Chelsea: West Ham are just that bad right now, and this fixture doesn’t help the Hammers. I really don’t know if this is good for Chelsea who have been cumbersome to watch all season.
Who are the teams to avoid?:
Liverpool B: The reserve team have to host its parent club, and they have found it tough scoring and keeping clean sheets which makes them prime real estate to back against.
Everton: The other half of Merseyside has been on a good run of form, but they struggle against teams from the top six. Oddly, their last game against this group of teams was a win over Chelsea. Arsenal, unlike the Blues, have great attacking flair.
GW Differential Picks:
Joshua King is a great option for the Gameweek against Burnley.
Salomón Rondón has been on fire at St James Park.
Kepa Arrizabalaga must surely be a great option at home against West Ham.
FPL Captaincy Picks:
(C): Mohamad Salah – The natural pick when Man City, United, and Spurs are absent from the Gameweek. I also don’t trust Chelsea more than the Reds in this fixture with comparative opposition.
(VC): Salomón Rondón – Newcastle have rekindled their love of St James Park, and the Venezuelan has been the go-to man to trust for a goal in front of the home faithful.
Other Gameweek Comments:
Another week, another dilemma for your teams. I myself am burdened with West Ham defenders in an away game against Chelsea. Differentials will be crucial in getting ahead of the curve in this reduced Gameweek.

Who are the teams to look out for?:
Liverpool: A win would really turn the pressure on as City face some tough games in Europe and the Premieer League coming up.
Newcastle: Six home wins in a row. Soon to be seven.
Leicester: Travelling to the whipping boys this weekend, so will probably see a few half-decent attacking and defensive returns.
Who are the teams to avoid?:
Bournemouth: Banana peel of a fixture for The Cherries?
FPL Captaincy Picks:
(C): Eden Hazard – The best captaincy option at home this week by a long stretch. All depends on how bad West Ham are this weekend if Hazard will have a Gameweek to remember.
(VC): Salomón Rondón – 5 of Newcastle's last 8 fixtures have been away from home. Rondon has scored in 2 of those 3 home fixtures. The Toon have won 6 games in a row at home (this can't be stressed enough). Form is with the Venezuelan in this fixture.

Other Gameweek Comments:
Not many teams playing as it’s a blank Gameweek, focus on fielding 11 players, get as many players from the top teams/teams with easy fixtures (Liverpool, Chelsea, Leicester, Arsenal), might be a good gw for some differentials
