Ahead of each Gameweek in the Fantasy Premier League, The Hype Train's three front-men, Robert Austin, Sam Austin and Phil Jones, duel for FPL supremacy in predicting Premier League scores, as well as going head to head in picking a Scout Picks squad for each round of games. In addition, we provide general insight that we believe might be relevant for FPL players, such as our personal captaincy picks, differentials for the week, and more. Welcome to the Forecast. Fantasy Premier League: Gameweek 11 Deadline
For the 2019/20 Premier League season, the FPL deadline will be one hour before the commencement of the week's first game. Our website provides a real-world countdown timer for the the upcoming Gameweek, whilst you can read our latest Fantasy articles from the season on our 2019/20 FPL weekly hype sub-section.
How does our Forecasting work?
For three years we invited guests from the FPL Community to tackle us with picks for the upcoming Gameweek in Fantasy Premier League. We'll be taking a break from inviting guests onto this article for a year, and have introduced a new feature, Fantasy 5's, which we'll be asking weekly guests their top pick in each position ahead of each Gameweek.
For the sake of respecting the rules of the Forecast, we have provided an example of what we're sending out to interested parties that will feature throughout the season.
Premier League Fixture Prediction: As pundits, we are testing our football acumen with PL predictions and will be providing regular updated tables and stats in each edition of the FPL Forecast. A perfect score is worth 3 points whilst a correct result is worth 1 point.
FPL Gameweek Forecasting: Answering the regular questions that come up every single week in the Fantasy Premier League community that helps with identifying captaincy picks, transfers, attacking options, clean sheet potential, teams to look our for and avoid, players to consider for the Draft game, the wildcard differential players, as well as general analysis and comments.
Scout Picks: Picking a squad of 15 for a single Gameweek, without any budget, using the rules of the FPL - formations, captains and vice captains, and the player limits of 3 per club (chips will not be feature of these weekly picks)
Each team must pick a Captain, labelled as (c) and a Vice Captain listed as (vc).

DEF: Benjamin Mendy (MCI, DEF, £5.9mil, 1.4% ownership)
MID: Kevin De Bruyne (MCI, MID, £10.2mil, 39.4% ownership)
FWD: Neal Maupay (BHA, FWD, £6.0mil, 1.3% ownership)
Who are the teams to look out for and avoid?:
Norwich (Avoid): Pukki Party is still over, if you were wondering. So much for the ‘xGC, xGA’ whatever stats that you pay a monthly membership for.
Man United (Avoid): Three wins in a row but going up against Bournemouth won’t be an easy task. Sooner rather than later will this patchy form end, and the narrative returns to why OGS is the United manager. I can see both teams cancelling each other out.
Arsenal (Avoid): Nothing is going right for Arsenal now. Their club captain disrespected the fans, the fans are disrespecting the club, and their Europa League team just lost to the Liverpool teenagers. In their last Premier League match Crystal Palace did bits on the Gunners and nabbed a draw after being 2-0 down.
Man City (Watch): Not only did Southampton lose 9-0 to Leicester, they recently just lost to Man City in the League Cup at the Etihad 3-1. I can see the Citizens getting a formality win over the Saints who have had a week to forget.
FPL Captaincy Picks:
(C) – Mohamad Salah (LIV): All season I only have four captains that have got me points, and they have all been the Egyptian King who has secured these points. I’m not going to chance that winning formula and keep the armband on Salah away at Villa.
(VC) – Tammy Abraham (CHE): Chelsea score more goals away from home than they do at Stamford Bridge. I can see Watford getting absolutely whitewashed in this fixture.

Top FPL transfer targets for the weekend:
Leicester and Man United have good fixtures. If that’s your MO in FPL this season, they’re the teams to look at, but form is fleeting, and the game naturally hates you this year, so go with Vardy and when his forms drops off, at least we all suffer together.
Who are the teams to look out for and avoid?:
Everton & Spurs (avoid): A tough fixture for both teams. Not expecting much of anything from both.
Man United (watch): If you can stomach owning a United player, the Red Devils have hit a good patch of fixtures. Rashford and/or Martial might be worth looking at as attacking options. They’re also good for a penalty and Martial adds something to their attack.
Arsenal (avoid): Can’t believe that in the middle of Arsenal’s good patch of fixtures, they’ve lost all form and a player who I bought in to my Wildcard team, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, is on the verge of leaving my team.
Gameweek 11 Musings:
I don’t trust Liverpool to keep a clean sheet this weekend. In fact, I don’t fancy many teams to keep the door shut at the back. City look like prime suspects, though Ings and Redmond's pace has caused them problems in the past.
Wolves look good for a win at The Emirates this weekend after largely rotating their squad for the Europa League. Arsenal are there for the taking and can be picked off. My gut says that Adam Traore is the man to watch on the break.
The Newcastle fan in me says that we typically struggle in London and will struggle with the power of Anderson, Yarmolenko and Haller.
Norwich don’t look like scoring anytime soon and can see them massively struggling at a well-drilled Brighton side.
FPL Captaincy Picks:
(C) – Kevin De Bruyne (MCI): I’m just banking on a City asset in an easy home game in hopes of breaking my 9-game captaincy draught. Sterling’s failed me several times, so just going with the midfield maestro.
(VC) – Sadio Mane (LIV): Mane looks set to be the man and tends to perform better away from home.
Other Gameweek Comments:
I’ll be heavily surprised if this is a big-scoring Gameweek and can just envision this being another sub-50 score for most FPL players this week. This is already proving to be the longest season of them all since we’ve been reporting on FPL and quite honestly, we can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel that is the 2019/20 season.
