Brighton 2-2 Everton

Norwich 0-3 Leicester

West Ham 2-0 Crystal Palace

Liverpool 2-1 Chelsea

Burnley 1-1 Leeds

Spurs 3-0 Watford

FPL Forecasting: Gameweek 3

Prediction: Mikel Arteta may be sacked after GW3 if they lose to City, just my hunch, as the pressure has been piling on the Spaniard in the early part of the season.

Who are the teams to look out for and avoid?:

Watch: Man City, Liverpool, Man United, West Ham, Southampton, Aston Villa, Spurs

Avoid: Newcastle, Palace, Chelsea, Watford, Wolves, Brentford, and of course Arsenal

???: Brighton, Everton, Burnley, Leeds

Top FPL player targets this weekend:

GK: Hugo Lloris (TOT, GK, £5.5mil, 6.7% ownership)

DEF: Tino Livramento (SOU, DEF, £4.0mil, 4.5% ownership)

MID: Saïd Benrahma (WHU, MID, £6.2mil, 21.8% ownership)

FWD: Michail Antonio (WHU, FWD, £7.7mil, 38.8% ownership)

Gameweek 3 – FPL Differential Picks:

MCI/ARS: Ferran Torres (MCI, MID, £7.0mil, 2.1% ownership)

AVL/BRE: Anwar El-Ghazi (AVL, MID, £6.0mil, 1.4% ownership)

BHA/EVE: Demarai Gray (EVE, MID, £5.5mil, 1.2% ownership)

NEW/SOU: Tino Livramento (SOU, DEF, £4.0mil, 4.5% ownership)

NOR/LEI: Ricardo Pereira (LEI, DEF, £5.5mil, 5.6% ownership)

WHU/CRY: Pablo Fornals (WHU, MID, £6.0mil, 0.7% ownership)

TOT/WAT: Hugo Lloris (TOT, GK, £5.5mil, 6.7% ownership)

WOL/MUN: Raphaël Varane (MUN, DEF, £5.5mil, 1.2% ownership)

Differential Captain: Demarai Gray (Everton)

The young Englishman has returned to the Premier League after spending some time in Germany, and he is the perfect player that Rafa Benitez likes to use, cut in, and score goals. After scoring his first goal for his new club in GW2 the English winger is travelling to unbeaten Brighton. The Seagull’s still aren’t there for defensively and the early season bubble can be burst. Not many people are looking at Gray’s potential, especially considering his price, but here is to chancing it with the Everton winger who likes to get into the box.

Gameweek 3 - FPL Captaincy Picks:

Essential: Michail Antonio (WHU)

Alternative: Hueng-Min Son (TOT)

Differential: Demarai Gray (EVE)

England vs. FPL:

This is the third week of the 3 Lions assault on the Fantasy tables, and in GW2 the English only team beat the average points. Returns from Trent (LIV), Shaw (MUN), Greenwood (MUN), Grealish (MCI), and captain Ings (AVL) were able to best the average. For GW3 I have opted for the following changes:

Ins: Dominic Calvert-Lewin (EVE). Dele Alli (TOT)

Outs: Ivan Toney (BRE), Jack Harrison (LEE)

Toney hasn’t started as everyone expected so opting for Calvert-Lewin to continue his strong start to the season. I have also dropped Jack Harrison (LEE) for Dele Alli (TOT who has found himself back in the Spurs team, and on set pieces.

GW2 Returns: 5/11

GW2 Points: 63pts

GW2 Average Points: 56pts

Formation: 3-4-3

GK: Nick Pope

DEF: Luke Shaw (MUN)

DEF: Trent Alexander-Arnold (LIV)

DEF: Aaron Creswell (WHU)

MID: Jack Grealish (MCI) MID: Mason Greenwood (MUN)

MID: Harvey Barnes (LEI)

MID: Dele Alli (TOT)

FWD: Dominic Calvert-Lewin (EVE)

FWD: Danny Ings (AVL) (C)

FWD: Jamie Vardy (VC)

Substitutes:

GK: Ben Foster (WAT)

MID: Emile Smith-Rowe (ARS)

DEF: Ben White (ARS)

DEF: Trevor Chalobah (CHE)

FPL Scout Picks: Gameweek 3

Formation: 3-4-3

Starting 11

GK: Hugo Lloris (TOT)

DEF: Tyrone Mings (AVL)

DEF: Ricardo Pereira (LEI)

DEF: Trent Alexander-Arnold (LIV)

FPL Forecasting: Gameweek 3

Gameweek 3 – FPL Differential Picks:

Ferran Torres – Once again likely to start OOP, has been unlucky not to get in the goals so far this season.

Gameweek 3 - FPL Captaincy Picks: Essential: Heung Min Son (TOT) Alternative: Michail Antonio (WHU) Differential: Lucas Moura (TOT)

FPL Scout Picks: Gameweek 3 Formation: 3-4-3

Starting 11

GK: David De Gea (MUN)

DEF: Tyrone Mings (AVL) DEF: Ruben Dias (MCI) DEF: Luke Shaw (MUN)

MID: Heung Min Son (TOT) (C) MID: Ferran Torres (MCI) MID: Mason Mount (CHE) MID: Jason Sancho (MUN)

As part of my 'Team FPL' I am using my personal team which has been budgeted. The only change I am making is Stuart Armstrong (SOU) coming in for Ivan Toney (BRE). I am a Newcastle supporter and I know the score, this is the perfect game for Southampton to rattle Steve Bruce's lacklustre side.

FPL Scout Picks: Gameweek 3 Formation: 4-3-3
